2009 BSI
The University of Bioinformatics Summer Institute is jointly supported
by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation.
In the summer of 2010 UMBSI will be the platform for launching the Minnesota
team that will compete in the 2010 International Genetically Engineered
Machines competition. UMBSI is no longer receiving applications for 2010.
The mission of the Bioinformatics Summer Institute is to provide
the highest possible quality undergraduate and graduate level
education and research experiences in bioinformatics, equipping
the new generation of this burgeoning professional community with
the tools for a successful career in bioinformatics.
